LARIAN VALDOR 2010

This is my 2nd time joining this event. Many running event organised across the year in Penang, it can be considered my top favorite running event in term of prizes, lucky draw prizes, food, hospitality of the local people.
7 members joint the event this year but only 5 of us able to go on the event day. We departed from island near to 6 am and took about 35 minutes to reach Valdor. The running distance has reduced from 11 km to 8km this year. It is a very big good news to me as my body condition was very bad caused by the flu but to many people it might be a bad news (xio te, bo kao kit).

The running shirt which supposed to provide before the event due to some technical issue, was given after the race. It is a considered a supprising gift from the organiser. A polyester running vest.
The medal also be pai. Last year the medal is oval shape. We have 2 lucky persons this year.

and I won a local brand sport shoe.Hehe ngam ngam my size but wandering whether it can be used for long distance running.

2. Low YS - 46 mins
3. Ooi TS - 48 mins (Pia ka pua see baru ane)
4. Kimura - 50 mins (Due to back injury)
5. Lim ST - 60 mins

3rd Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2011

According to a very reliable source, the start of registraton for the 3rd Standard Chartered KL Marathon will be announce next week !
The date of the race have been fixed at 26th June 2011.

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon

This is the first time I participated in the SCSM, Eventhough the timing is not good = 2hrs 06 mins for half marathon, the experience gain was tremendous. The route started from Sentosa bridge, running across the Sentosa island including passing through the Universal Studios, Resorts World before running across to the Singapore proper. At the same time, we did run through the Marina Sands Hotel & Casino and finally ends at the PADANG. Would recomend anyone to join the SCSM next year.
